1. Purpose
These Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter referred to as “Terms”) govern all sales made through the website www.luz-design.com, operated by Luz Design.
By placing an order on this website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms without reservation.
2. Products
The products offered for sale are those displayed on the website at the time of your order.
Luz Design makes every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images, and details are accurate and up to date.
However, minor variations may occur. Such differences shall not constitute grounds for liability.
3. Prices
All prices are indicated in Euro and include all applicable taxes (including VAT, where applicable).
Shipping costs, if any, are specified before order confirmation.
Luz Design reserves the right to modify prices at any time; however, the products will be billed based on the prices in effect when the order is placed.
4. Orders
Orders are placed directly through the website.
The customer confirms acceptance of these Terms when validating their order.
Luz Design reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in the event of non-payment, fraud suspicion, or an existing dispute with the customer.
5. Payment
Payment is required at the time of order placement.
Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards and Klarna.
Transactions are processed securely via Squarespace’s payment partners.
Luz Design does not store credit card data.
6. Shipping and Delivery
Orders are processed within 1 or 2 business days after payment confirmation.
Delivery times depend on the shipping destination and carrier.
Delays due to external causes (e.g., customs, carrier issues, or force majeure) shall not incur liability for Luz Design.
Shipping fees are clearly displayed during checkout.
7. Returns and Refunds
In accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU, consumers have a right of withdrawal within 14 days from the date of delivery, without providing any reason.
To exercise this right, contact us at stephanie@luz-design.com before the withdrawal period expires.
Products must be returned unused, in their original condition and packaging.
Refunds will be issued within 14 days after receipt of the returned goods.
Certain items (e.g., personalized or digital products) are excluded from the right of withdrawal.
8. Warranty
Products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L.217-4 to L.217-14 of the French Consumer Code or equivalent EU law) and the warranty against hidden defects.

9. Limitation of Liability
Luz Design shall not be held liable for any indirect or consequential damages resulting from the use of the website or purchased products.
Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the product concerned.
10. Personal Data Protection (GDPR Compliance)
Luz Design processes personal data in compliance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR) and applicable local laws.
Data Controller: Luz Design
Purpose of processing: Customer account management, order processing, delivery, payment, and after-sales service.
Legal basis: Contract performance (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Data retention: Personal data is retained for the duration necessary to fulfill contractual and legal obligations, not exceeding 2 years.
Data recipients: Luz Design employees and authorized service providers (e.g., payment processors, shipping companies, Squarespace).
Data transfer: Some data may be transferred outside the EU via Squarespace’s infrastructure. Squarespace complies with the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Luz Design shall not be liable for any failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, or supply chain disruptions.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain.
In the event of a dispute, the parties shall first attempt to resolve it amicably.
If no agreement can be reached, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Valencia, Spain.
